Our motorbike travel to Pyrenees
This year our destinatio are Pyrenees and the north of Spain, but since we love France a lot, we take the chance to spend some days in this country.
We left quite early to reach Cuneo, and we cross the french border through the Colle della Maddalena; we continue crossing amazing streets to reach Barcellonette, Col de la Cayolle, Gorges de Daluis, Col de Toutes Aures.
We arrive in Castelland after the Castillon dam, and we drive the north road of Verdon Gorges, as far as Moustiers St. Marie.
We really suggest this itinerary, also for a small 2 days trip!
We go towards Provence, as far as Mount Ventoux, so famous for cyclists, to reach the Gorges de l'Ardeche and the Cevennes Natural Park.
From the Cevennes we go to Millau - Narbonne - Carcassonne - Col de la Quillane - Matemale.
We crossed the little country of Andorra and finally we reached Spain!
All the remaining days we will cross continuosly the french-spanish border, driving through most of the Pyrenees.... just to say some names, Benasque, Escalona, Bielsa, Col d'Auspin, Col de Tourmalet, the Picos De Europa, Lourdes.
Coming back home we decided to go through the Col de la Croix de Fer and the famous Col de L'Iseran, reaching Val d'Isere where we stopped for a couple of days of relax.
We come back crossing the Piccolo San Bernardo, Chamonix with its amazing Monte Bianco, Col de la Forclaz and Switzerland.
